Plan in advance, 2. check perks in advance that can help you enjoy your time more, 3. for the out of area or out of state visitors that come of one or two days, spend a little more in advance for skip the line options or VIP tour that takes you to the front, 4. Stay longer so you can only go a few hours in the morning, then relax at the hotel and have lunch and shower after or pool, then back in the evening to avoid the main heat in the middle of the day, this helps your vacation a lot. Bottom line plan correctly like anything els and it won’t be a waste of time.

Here at Shanghai Disneyland there are phone charger vending machines all over the place that you can rent for roughly 20 cents an hour. It’s such a god send, you can carry them anywhere. If you accidentally take it home it’ll charge you roughly $60 automatically.

The My Disney Experience app is a lifesaver! I used it to make my dining reservations, schedule any magical extras that I wanted and look at attraction wait times.

Chef Morimoto buys whole grain rice and "polishes" it down from whole grain brown rice down to white rice by shaving the husk in-house with a custom rice polisher. He can manipulate the size of the grains to give the texture he wants. Essentially, he makes his own white rice.

Also major rumor that Portos is no longer opening at Downtown Disney. Currently there is only so much food and receiving dock space for Downtown Disney, and Portos was supposed to share a space with Starbucks. Starbucks was supposed to make room for Portos but they have refused to comply (hey, Portos is direct competition) so Portos said if the situation doesn’t improve, they will opt out of the contract. Also Portos wanted Holidays to close but Disney said no to that as well. If you look at the latest official Disney news food blog, they highlight Din Tai Fung and the new Mexican restaurant opening soon, but 0 mention of Portos.

Don't call it the chicken line -- Disney theming is great and I have gone through the lines in Everest and Space Mountain not intending to ride - but to see the queue. Another thing - I don't know if Swan/Dolphin accepts or transfers luggage on a split stay - but Shades of Green does.

Thanks for sharing about Frozen world. I been kind of complaining about why this land wasn't showing anything of Frozen 2 but understanding how most lands don't really include sequels so I now understand this land is more important to the first popular movie.

The theming, food, monorail access & what you can do at Polynesian makes it one of my top two. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 14 days in mid January to the end of January in 2024. We requested a partial savannah view, & maybe because it was the slow season, we got a full savannah view. The food is amazing. Even the quick service is pretty good.

42:54 my mom has a really funny story where she accidentally mistook the swinging gondola line for the normal ones. and she took me and my little sister with her (we must have been 1 to 3 years old at the time). she didn’t even notice until the ride started and the gondola kept sliding.

My experience at Nomad Lounge x 3 is immediately at open the wait list says no availability. We get in line outside the entrance 1/2 hour before it opens and we get right in.
